What happens if a scheduled appointment is missed?
If a truck misses a scheduled appointment, it will be considered an unscheduled truck and will be worked into the scheduled trucks if possible. The terminal manager will work hard to get the truck in, however there is no guarantee and overtime may have to be authorized. If you know in advance that the appointment is going to be missed, be sure to notify Planning and Scheduling as soon as possible. It is the trucker's responsibility to contact Planning & Scheduling regarding rescheduling an appointment.
