How are unscheduled arrivals handled?

If you need to arrange an appointment and you are already within the 48 hour window, your shipment can be accepted, although the process may take longer. First, you need to call Planning and Scheduling at 800-382-4577. They will refer you to the appropriate SPA terminal. The terminal manager will handle all desired work in the most efficient way possible and try hard to get the job accomplished in short order; but understand your job will have to be worked in amongst scheduled appointments and there may be a delay while labor is shifted to accommodate unscheduled arrivals. There is no guarantee of being able to work it in and overtime may need to be approved. For this reason, pre-scheduling is highly suggested.
