The primary interstate artery into and out of Charleston is Interstate 26. Interstate highways are within two miles of all Port of Charleston terminals. From there it is possible to go cross-country without hitting a stoplight. I-95, I-77, I-20, I-85 and I-40 are all directly linked to Charleston via I-26.
